We accept all major Australian health funds and process claims on the spot via HICAPS. It is your responsibility to confirm your level of optical cover with your health fund before your appointment or purchase. We are not responsible for any gap payments or claim rejections by your health fund.

Health fund benefit schedules and rebate amounts are set by your fund and may change at any time. Any out-of-pocket expenses remain your responsibility.

Contact Lenses

Contact lenses are medical devices regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). By purchasing contact lenses from See Side Optical you confirm that:

• You have a valid, current contact lens prescription issued by a registered optometrist

• You are purchasing lenses that match your current prescription

• You understand that wearing incorrect or expired prescriptions may cause serious harm to your eyes

• You will follow the wearing schedule and hygiene instructions provided by your optometrist

We reserve the right to request a copy of your current prescription before fulfilling a contact lens order. We will not knowingly supply contact lenses to a person without a valid prescription.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Some optical products, including certain contact lenses, may be GST-free as therapeutic goods — this will be reflected at checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment

We accept payment by major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.

Order Cancellations
